Newspaper Article Requests

Use the forms below to request a copy of a newspaper article. If you have a citation for a specific article, you may submit up to 5 article requests at one time. Where available, staff will make copies from our digitized collections. Otherwise microfilm copies will be used. If you do not have a specific article citation, then staff will search one topic in our online newspaper databases for up to 5 articles on your subject. Newspapers that can be searched online include:

• Times Picayune (1837-Present)
• New Orleans Item (1877-1958)
• New Orleans States  (1916-1957)
• States-Item (1960-1979)

 Fee: $2 per article searched and up to 1 page from 1 article copied from microfilm
$2 per additional page copied from microfilm
