Orleans Parish Sheriffs (1815-1888)
This list of Orleans Parish Sheriffs was compiled and printed, probably in 1888, by an unidentified office within the parish government. The names of subsequent Civil and Criminal Sheriffs can be found by searching the New Orleans city directories and the Louisiana Roster of Officials. Copies of both sources are available in City Archives & Special Collections.
