While the Archives primarily focuses on the records of the City of New Orleans, the collections includes materials from a wide range of sources and cover a large number of topics.  The Special Collections are made up of over 300 unique collections.  These include Carnival materials, ephemera, artifacts and other pieces of New Orleans’ History.  As we build this collection we hope to add items that will help to inform and compliment our City Records.
